Join us from 12:00 – 1:30 pm on Saturday, August 19, for two service activities and a presentation centered around The National Center for Children and Families (NCCF), a Bethesda-based nonprofit serving nearly 50,000 vulnerable children, youth and families annually in the D.C. Metro area.
- Create “Inspiration Books” filled with quotes, stories and drawings
- Design and create pencil cases for students
- Hear from an NCCF representative about the organization’s mission and why the work they do is so important to our community
Students who participate will be eligible for up to two Student Service Learning (SSL) hours.
We are also holding a school supply drive for NCCF. You can view the requested supply list here.
