Coming to Listen Together will give you an opportunity to explore a different podcast, album, Ted Talk or interview each week. After listening, we will have a conversation about our impressions and takeaways. If you would like transcripts of what will be listened to, please send a note to mayas@mainstreetconnect.org when you sign up.

This week’s focus:
Gustav Holst: The Planets (Part 1) – The Planets, Op. 32, is a seven-movement orchestral suite by the English composer Gustav Holst, written between 1914 and 1917. In the last movement the orchestra is joined by a wordless female chorus. Each movement of the suite is named after a planet of the Solar System and its supposed astrological character. We will be listening to Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus.
