Join us for a very special session of Main Street Culture Series, as we take a virtual visit to Hartford, CT and tour The Wadsworth Atheneum!

The oldest public art museum in the United States, the Wadsworth Atheneum was founded by Daniel Wadsworth in 1842 with just seventy-nine paintings and three sculptures. Today the collection exceeds 50,000 works of art that span 50,000 years of art history. Highlights of our ‘visit’ may include Renaissance and Baroque paintings, European & American decorative arts, Hudson River School landscape paintings, European and American Impressionist paintings, modern and Surrealist masterpieces, and contemporary art of diverse media. You can learn more about the Wadsworth in anticipation of our session and have your questions ready!
