Andy Friedlander, Vice President of Associated Insurance Management (AIM), is a property and casualty insurance agent with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Having practiced real estate law for more than five years before obtaining his insurance license, Mr. Friedlander’s current practice focuses on providing commercial insurance and risk management services to a variety of real estate owners and developers in the Washington, DC, region. Additionally, he works with other commercial and private clients, including private investment funds, to create strategic solutions for their insurance needs.

Mr. Friedlander is a graduate of both Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Washington College of Law at American University. Mr. Friedlander is involved in many philanthropic endeavors, including serving as Chair of the Board of The Charles E. Smith Life Communities where he helped launch “ElderSafe”, a center dedicated to safeguarding seniors from abuse. He also currently serves on the Advisory Board of WashingtonFirst Bank headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
