Let’s make an Accordion Book with Main Street staff member Isabel’s mom, Julie Garcia!
Accordion books are fun and useful, and great to display! First, we will cover boards with decorative paper. Next, we will fold our inside paper to match the size of our covers. Finally, we will glue it all together to complete our book!
Julie Garcia received an MA in Art & The Book from The Corcoran College of Art and Design. She has taught the joys of making books to students at GWU and the Washington Waldorf School. Her books have been collected by the Library of Congress, Yale University, and private collectors.
Registration will close 6/28 at 6pm to allow time to prepare materials.
