Come out to Main Street on October 5, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm for a book signing event for Donté Brown’s new book How Coddling Kids Is Killing Kids’ Confidence. The book focuses on what parenting behaviors are doing to contribute to their kids’ mental health, how parents can improve their mindsets to become better leaders for their kids, and how to better help younger generations to prepare for adulthood.
Donté has been a boxing coach for over two decades with multiple experiences working with kids, from teaching 5th and 6th graders to mentoring “at-risk” young people. He is also a Main Street board member. Donté’s book provides an account of his experiences working with modern day youth and how their mental health is being impacted by how their parents are raising them. The stories, self-awareness, and solutions discussed aim to help parents go from coddling to modeling positive behaviors that can improve their lives and the lives of their children.
This event will include great food, music, a photo booth and more!
The book will be available on Amazon on Monday, September 9. Books will also be available for purchase at the October 5th event for $19.99 + tax.
