What a Day!

Before it was time to tee off at Main Street’s 4th Annual Golf Outing on October 2, 2023, David Godoy played a beautiful rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner on his saxophone, and then he spoke from his heart, the way he always does. A Main Street member and front desk associate, David talked about the way Main Street allows him to be himself.
“As soon as people come through the front door, they always see the smile on my face—the greeting that I do every day, with a positive attitude,” he said. “If you smile at the world, the world smiles back at you.”
It was the perfect way to start the morning, a reminder of what truly matters, and it is the support provided by donors to the Golf Outing that makes it possible for David and others to experience that Main Street feeling every day.
We are beyond grateful for all of those who sponsored, volunteered and participated in the Golf Outing. The outing supports Main Street’s affordable, inclusive apartment building and membership-based community, where people of all abilities find a sense of belonging.
