Affordability and Accessibility in Communal Housing with Jillian Copeland

We are so pleased to have Jillian Copeland, a Founder, Board Chair and Interim Executive Director of Main Street Connect,  join us on Health Gig. Jillian is a teacher by trade, having worked as an educator, staff trainer and technology coordinator for Montgomery County Public Schools for several years prior to founding The Diener School in 2007. Jillian’s next endeavor was focused on accessible and affordable housing – her apartment building and community center, Main Street, is an innovative way of living that encourages a sense of community and fosters the feeling of belonging for able-bodied and disabled people all together in a co-op space.
