UMD Plus One Year Photo College

In the summer of 2025, Main Steet launched a new partnership with TerpsEXCEED, a 2-year non-degree inclusive postsecondary education certificate program at the University of Maryland in College Park. Main Street and TerpsEXCEED are now offering a “Plus One Year” to help TerpsEXCEED alumni take a next step in independent living. Interested alumni may apply for a below market-rate apartment at Flats at College Park, a beautiful, new 317-unit apartment building just one mile from the UMD campus. Those who qualify for an apartment may move to the Flats and participate in programs to facilitate their transition to life off campus. Programs are designed to help alumni build knowledge and skills needed to live successfully in an apartment, while maintaining and expanding their connection to the College Park community.
