Store Reporter (11/6/25) – The Soulfull Cafe in downtown Rockville has a new name: The Bean Bag at Main Street. Longtime restaurateur Mitchell Wool has taken over the restaurant at 50 Monroe Place, which employs some residents of the Main Street inclusive housing community. The new spot marks a second location for Wool’s Bean Bag Deli & Catering Co., a Rockville favorite since 1977. On the new menu: salads, soups, sandwiches, espresso drinks, a hot dog bar, and six flavors of fresh-baked cookies every day. Wool says he’ll continue Soulfull’s practice of employing people with disabilities, in keeping with Main Street’s mission. Bean Bag’s primary location on East Gude Drive will remain open.
