When I think of idealism brought to life with love, joy, creativity, commitment, purpose and unity, I think of Main Street! My connection to Main Street is through my lifelong friendship and sisterhood with Main Street’s Founder, Jillian Copeland. I have known and loved her since she was 5 days old! Her big sister, Stacey, was my lifelong best friend. I also had the honor of working with Jillian when we were both instructional technology specialists for MCPS.
Currently, as CEO (Chief Enthusiast Officer) of Virtues Matter, I have the joy of working with my husband, Dave. We launched Virtues Matter in January of 2019 to create positive change by uplifting humanity and igniting virtues in individuals, families, workplaces and communities. It was a true joy and honor to be the speaker at Main Street’s Gratitude Breakfast in November of 2019 and to celebrate the many people who have been so generous with their time, money, hearts and hands to bring Main Street to life! My commitment is to continue to connect more deeply with the Main Street community. I look forward to more opportunities to empower Main Street members and friends to know their own inherent nobility and to live lives of joy, meaning, purpose and inclusivity!
